MAIL-IN REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER CAMP 2000 BEGINS ON MONDAY, APRIL 3 AND ENDS ON THURSDAY, APRIL 6. WALK-IN REGISTRATION STARTS ON APRIL 18 AT 6PM.
UNIT ONE
Unit One is specially designed for our youngest
campers. This unit provides a camp program which emphasizes a safe and
caring environment. Activities in this camp included: games, skits, free
play, water fun, arts & crafts, special events, and trips.
AGE: Six years old. Camper must be six
prior to the first day he/she wishes to attend camp. Camper must submit
a copy of a birth certificate.
CAMP GROUPS: Unit One has two head counselors,
three assistant counselors, and three junior
counselors for approximately 22 campers. During some activities the unit
will be split into two groups.
OPTIONS: Unit One offers two options:
OPTION A is Monday through Friday (with
trips)
OPTION B is Monday through Thursday (no
trips)
HOURS: CAMP meets Monday-Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm.

DAY CAMP
Our Day Camp program offers a wide variety of activities for your child.
Activities in the day Camp include: ARTS & CRAFTS, SKITS, SWIMMING,
GAMES, SPECIAL EVENTS, FIELD GAMES, AND FIELD TRIPS.
The Rustic Canyon Day Camp philosophy emphasizes making new friends
and having fun in a safe environment.
AGE: Seven to eleven years old. The child must be seven by the
first day he/she wishes to attend camp. Campers must submit
a birth certificate
with registration if one is not currently on file in the office.
CAMP GROUPS: Day Camp is divided into Units, each consisting
of approximately twenty children with two head
counselors and three assistant counselors. Groups are assigned according
to the child’s birthdate, not the
grade in school. Requests to be with a friend can be made on form A. We
cannot make guarantees with
requests, but we will do our best.
OPTIONS: Participants have two options:
OPTION A : Monday through Friday (with trips)
OPTION B : Monday through Thursday (no trips)
HOURS: Camp meets Monday-Thursday 10:00am-3pm, Trip Hours Vary

PERFORMING ARTS CAMP
Campers will enjoy a well rounded dance, drama, and music program which
emphasizes a joyous approach to theater arts. Their efforts will culminate
in a production at the end of each session.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Drama games, improvisation, singing, set design,
costume, and props. Also campers will enjoy outdoor games, swimming, and
special events.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT.
AGE: Eight to twelve years old for sessions two and three, 10-14 years old for session 1.. Your child must be eight years old as of the first day he/she wishes to attend camp. Campers must submit a birth certificate with registration unless a copy is already on file.
HOURS: Performing Arts meets Monday through Friday from 9:30am - 3:30pm.
Performing Arts Campers go on the first field trip of each session
except for session 1.

SPORTS CAMP
Our Sports Camp teaches the fundamentals of sports and athletic activities. The Rustic Canyon Philosophy emphasizes learning and improving skills, while promoting team spirit and sportsmanship.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, FLAG FOOTBALL, SOCCER, SWIMMING,
TENNIS, TOURNAMENTS, SPECIAL EVENTS, AND FRIDAY TRIPS FOR OPTION "A" CAMPERS.
ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED. SIGN UP EARLY.
