Rustic Canyon Park has two picnic areas and one softball diamond.
1) Non-reserved picnic area - This area has a limit of 20 people
per group and a maximum of two picnic tables.

2) Reserved picnic area - This area can accommodate a maximum of
60 people and requires a picnic permit.
a) The picnic permit fee for the day is $55, only one
permit is issued per day.
b) Picnic hours:
Monday - Thursday 9am - 10pm
Friday
9am - 7pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm

3) Both area have three fixed barbecue pits.
a) Portable barbecues are not allowed in the
park due to Santa Monica Canyon fire zone regulations.
4) The softball diamond permit fee is $13 per hour.
a) Players must use a "restricted
flight" softball due to the small size of the field.
b) non-anchored bases are available
for use at the front office.
